Build your own image prompt
Pick from each box and it assembles a proper prompt in the same order the good ones use. Change one box at a time to see what each part does.
How these prompts are built
Every long image prompt in this library stacks the same seven parts in the same order. Learn the order and you can write your own for any subject.
Say the camera out loud
"Isometric top-down view" or "shot on 85mm f1.4" changes the picture more than any adjective. If you do not name a viewpoint, the model picks one for you.
Two colours, not five
"Blue and grey colour palette" gives a designed image. Listing five colours gives mud. Name a pair and let the model find the rest.
Never write "no"
Image models cannot process negation. "No logos" makes a logo more likely, because the word is there. Put bans in the negative prompt box instead, and describe only what you do want.
Change one thing at a time
When a result is close but not right, edit a single clause and run it again. Rewriting the whole prompt loses whatever was already working.
This covers every prompt here that is not for pictures: coding, writing, work and data. These fail for a different reason: they have no rules. Left to itself an AI will guess what you meant, add things you never asked for, and hand back something confident and wrong. These six parts stop that.
Fill in the brackets first
Every one of these prompts has [SQUARE BRACKETS] in it. Replace them with your own words before you send it. That is the only editing you need to do.
The rules matter more than the request
"Build me a contact form" gets you something. The same thing plus "handle it failing, do not change anything else, tell me what to test" gets you something you can use.
Ask for a plan before the work
For anything that will take a while, ask for the plan first. Reading five sentences and saying no is far cheaper than reading a hundred files and starting again.
Ask what it was unsure about
Ending with "tell me what you were unsure about" makes it point out the shaky parts now, before you trip over them next week.
